Feedly icon only appears in address bar if tab has focus
The little F+ feedly icon that appears in the address bar when you visit a page with a feed doesn't appear unless the tab has focus when the page loads. Would be great to launch several new sites in different tabs then not have to refresh the page to get the F+ icon so I can add it to feedly

Inappropriate?Hi Mat. This is indeed a problem. Will try to dig into firefox and see if there is an event we can listen to to capture the tab focus and do the right thing. Thanks for taking the time to report this problem. Note: the temporary work around to this problem is to use the firefox feed button and select feedly in the drop down.

Inappropriate?When/if I don't see the f+ icon, I click on the orange rss icon which I suppose is via my google reader account. So maybe the "event you can listen to" is if the page is an rss feed and the rss icon appears in the address bar, that the f+ does too? I don't know programming but that sounds logical, no?

Inappropriate?Update: good news. We were able to crack that nut. The fix will be part of 1.2.9 and which should go out either Saturday night or Sunday night PST.
Thanks for reporting this problem!
Ari: you are correct, there is an event you can listen to when the user switches tab and locations on the browser. At that point you can determine if the site has RSS feed and if feedly already subscribe to them and do the right thing.
I’m thankful
