Feedly is unable to start

feedly gets this error:[reader][0001] failed to get initial list of unread counts because Failure during askUnreadCounts gr:unread-count : -1 -- [error] failed to GET.onload http://www.google.com/reader/api/0/un... because NS_ERROR_FAILURE -- Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIJSON.decode] [@61]

I have tried reinstalling it, updating it, and allowing third party cookies, none of this works
