Feedly toolbar button adds itself to the toolbar after Firefax restart.
The old behavior was better, add the button after a install but do not add it again if someone removes it. I don't use that button therefore it's kinda annoying.

Inappropriate?Sorry about this Mikael: we had to do it because a lot of people who ended up trying the feedly extension for the second time would not get the button and would be confused.
But there is a way to disable it. Go to about:config and set the feedly toolbar preference to off. See image attached:

Inappropriate?The best evidence of how incredibly bad this "solution" is that not even you could get it right. What you write above does not work, you have to remove the button from the toolbar in the usual way AND do this about:config hack.
Way to go. I couldn't discover this complicated action myself -- and I tried hard. I removed the button the usual way, I checked feedly addon settings dialog (none exists) and read through all of feedly's weird-style preferences page, to no avail. I only found out about this page when the broken behavior pissed me off so much that I went to report yet another bug.
BTW, in times like this, I wish there was a way to revert feedly's automatic update when it screws up -- happens way too often for my taste.

Inappropriate?vsl: sincere appology for the frustration. I will talk to the team on friday to re-iterate the design to prevent other users to have to go through the same frustration. I will will update this thread when I have more information.
