Inappropriate?By Crashing I simply mean freezing. No other actions can take place without exiting Firefox via the task manager. I was already subscribed to an a second feed from Epicurious -- perhaps it was the two feeds together causing the problem? I recreated the problem 3 times. The freeze happens when I try to "preview" the contents just prior to adding,

Inappropriate?Thank you very much for the details. I will open a P0 bug so that we can try to reproduce this problem. Do you know what is the second RSS feed from epicurous you subscribe too. Also what do you mean by preview? (= do you click on the +f button on firefox address bar to add the feed?)
-
Inappropriate? The second feed is http://feeds2.feedburner.com/healthy_.... Note that I added this "second" feed first and it was adding the "New Recipes" feed that kept causing the problem.
Feedly has an add new source option. When you select that from the Feedly menu, you are provided with a box in which to paste the feed URL. You are then able to "preview" what's at the other end (at the feed). It is when clicking the preview button that the freeze happens. I successfully previewed other sources. It was just this one that failed.
Note you did not address my inability to delete a source as noted in my original post.
Thanks. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the preview clarification. This is very helpful: we should be able to reproduce it much more easily that way.
Sorry I did not see the unsubscribe reference. What error message do you see when you try to unsubscribe. Can you also please a screenshot of the the firefox error console > messages tab after the unsubscribe action (to see if there are any exceptions happening under the cover)?

Inappropriate? We can duplicate the problem, thanks for the heads up. Fix should be ... around the corner.

Inappropriate?Update: Merlin was able to reproduce and fix this problem. The fix is included in patch 1.2.145 which you will get automatically next time you restart firefox. Thanks again for the heads up and have a great week end.
-
Inappropriate?Terrific and thanks! Now to the second part of my initial question: I cannot unsubscribe from this http://www.feedly.com/feedly#subscrip.../feed/http://rss.accuweather.com/rss/liveweather_rss.asp?locCode=94618&metric= either by using the "Spring Cleaning" function or by any other means I can identify.
-
I do not get an error message. Nothing happens. Period. -
I am not able to reproduce that problem: I was able to subscribe and unsubscribe from that weather feed without any problem. Hmmm.. So no messages at all in the firefox error console (messages tab) when you click on the unsubscribe button in the little popup which appears when you click on the i icon next to the subscription name? -
Inappropriate? No error messages in the console. The unsubscribe button doesn't pop up! Literally nothing happens with I click unsubscribe.
-
OK. Here is what we will do: we will put better logging in that part of the code in the patch we will push out tomorrow so that we can get visibility into the "silent" exception which is happening. Sorry for the inconvenience.
