Header and search box no longer on page.
When I go to Feedly, at the top of the page where I had the header picked out (I used giraffes) and the search box are gone. Now all I see are my categories. I want my search box back!
I’m freaking out.

Inappropriate?It looks like a useless zoom icon (magnifying glass on the right side of the top menu bar), but in reality it opens the search box. It would be nice if feedly remembered the last setting (open or closed) between sessions, but it doesn't currently. At least it seems to keep it open during a session.
I empathize with your loss of the giraffes. I lost the comfort of rows of books and a sense that I was in a library. On the other hand, the interface is now more functional and cleaner.
