Scrolling highlight stops working and preview button doesn't function correctly
In river view, the current article you are viewing is highlighted, if you scroll down it will highlight the next article in your view. This stops working if you click on an article which takes you into inline view. If you scroll down past the inline view to other articles below, it no longer highlights articles in your view and therefore wont mark them as read after a certain amount of time viewing.
The preview option in preferences doesn't seem to function correctly. (seems no different than inline) I propose making the "preview" option under navigation in preferences behave just as it does when you click the preview button when viewing an article. So when you click an articles title with the preview option enabled it will open up the same window you get when you click the preview button.

Inappropriate?Preview and inline still act the same under navigation in preferences. Would it be possible for preview to be changed to function as if you clicked the preview button? For example, if you set preview in preferences then when you click an articles title it'll give you a preview window like this one.

I think this would be much better. Thanks in advance.
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Hi dissent. Let me make sure I understand: you want a configuration knob that would force feedly to open the preview window every time you click on a subscription title (independently of wether the RSS feed includes only the first paragraph or the entire content)? This is feasible. I just want to make sure that I understand the requirements.

Inappropriate?Sorry forgot to clarify. i think the preview window should come up in both situations, that includes if there is only the first paragraph available or the entire content is available. So clicking the title will always bring up the preview window.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?OK. Thanks for the clarification. Give us a few days (may be till the end of next week and we will try to have a preference option which behaves the way you are suggesting. We will up date this thread when this information is available.

Inappropriate?update: we have started to work on this issue. We will update this thread when we have more information. Expect to hear something in the next 1-3 days.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?fixed in 1.2.67. We added an option to the entry navigation called "preview-only" which implements your suggestion. You should get 1.2.67 automatically next time you restart firefox. Thanks for the suggestion!

Inappropriate?this has stopped working recently. preview-only doesn't open up the preview frame anymore.
-
Inappropriate?are you sure that you are running 1.2.68 on all your machines? We did not change anything in this area.
-
Inappropriate?i'm fairly certain. i reinstalled feedly from the website just to make sure. i have preview-only set in my preferences under navigation. i click on an articles title and it takes me to a new page with a description of it. it use to be when i clicked the articles title the preview window would directly come up.

Inappropriate?i'm not sure what happened, but the "visit" option now works like the "preview-only" option did.
