how many articles per category do I have

I like to know how many articles are in each category like in Google Reader. Could you have a number next to the categories at the top of the page? Or, in the 'latest' view page, where the categories and blogs are listed down the right side, can you make the category titles clickable links? Now, you can see how many articles are in a category by adding the number of article per blog title, but to go to the category, you have to scroll back to the top of the page.
