How to delete a tab in Feedly?... there seems no way to do that, when I click on the i icon theres no "edit subscription" :(

Inappropriate?feedly is not really good at that :-( sorry.
The current manual work around is to go to each subscription which belongs to the category, click on the (i) next to the subscription name > edit subscription and unclick the name of the category
Once there are not subscription in that category, the category will disappear.
One of the lessons learned so far during this beta is that we need to improve the dashboard to support category renaming, deletion and management. Realisticly, it is going to take a few weeks before we can dive into that.

Inappropriate?Possible now. Go to the dashboard (pen icon on the navigation bar) or http://www.feedly.com/home#dashboard start dragging the category you want to delete and drop it in on the unsubscribe area which appears when you start dragging.
