How to Deleting articles?
How can I delete an article? When I mark it as read, Google thinks I read it and I liked it and so it’s finally counting on the feed trends.

Inappropriate?Hi Marko,
There are options to delete an article. I am not sure on the Google Reader side but on the feedly side, we do NOT track what users read. We compute your reading patterns based on the recommendation actions and annotations.

Hope this addresses your question. Sorry for not being able to be more useful.

Thank you very much for your quick reply, Edwin. Unfortunately, I am not able to find a "delete article" button. All I can see is "mark as read", "save for later", etc. But maybe I am just misunderstanding Feedly.
When I’m using Google Reader, there is no option to delete an article. I "have to read it" or simply "mark it as read". Unfortunately, Google is counting this as "wow, this article was so informative"... Well, 90% of the articles are not worth reading so a "delete" button would be excellent.
And every normal "offline" feed reader has a delete button to delete an article. But from what I can understand now is that Feedly’s button does it not "count" it as "excellent" as long as I do not recommend it. Is that right? But I do remember the information during the "installation" of feedly... about the article syncronization. So when I read an article on Feedly, it’s getting syncronized with Google Reader? Or did I misunderstand it?
Thanks again for your quick reply! -
Inappropriate?Marco: Here are the answers to your questions:
1) Feedly does indeed NOT have an option to delete an article.
2) When you mark an article as read in feedly, it will be automatically marked as read in Google Reader. Feedly does not capture the read information and does not use it for building your reading patterns. I do not know what google reader does with the read information.
3) When you recommend an article in feedly it is automatically marked as shared in Google Reader. The recommendation action and annotation actions is what feedly uses to build what we call your reading patterns and use for recommendations.
There is no way to decouple feedly and google reader at this point so if this is an issue, unfortunately, the only to work around this is to uninstall feedly (see more > uninstall for more information)
Edwin
