How to see email from Gmail account in Feedly?
My feedly account is linked to my google reader account but not to gmail even though I have ticked the gmail box. Is there a way to have a tab where I have my unread gmail messages?

Inappropriate?millsi80 the current level of gmail integration is limited to letting you sharing articles when you want to. A couple of other people have asked about being able to see their gmail unread count and possibly the tittle of the latest email articles. we are going to look into that.

Inappropriate?We are working on tighter gmail integration. The first iteration might be simply the number of unread articles with a link to the gmail page. Would that be a step in the right direction/enough?1 Comment

Inappropriate?Have you tried the new iGoogle? They are doing a good job of offering both gmail and google reader still RSS integration (with the new support for the canvas view). feedly is focusing more on content integration. We are going to have a "today" module on the homepage which includes number of unread emails, may be the title of the last email, overview of the next calendar event but it is more an at a glance approach and a useful shortcut. If your usecase, requires more information re: gmail, the new igoogle might be a better solution.

Inappropriate?I know the topic is a bit old, but it would be great to see Gmail integration, unread mail count, (headers displayed), upcomming Calendar Events (24/48 hours), most frequently mailed contacts list, Contacts information.
I think GMail --> Feedly integration could be very cool, then i never have to leave Feedly for communication purposes.
