Loading Profile...
I'm getting an error loading feedly page
When I first load the Feedly page, I get the following error:
Unable to access the feedly service because [error] failed to load feedly profile because NS_ERROR_FAILURE -- Component returned failure code: 0x80004005 (NS_ERROR_FAILURE) [nsIJSON.decode] [@78]. Hint:[[
I am running Firefox 3.0.5 and Feedly 1.2 (just downloaded Jan 2, 2009 from the Feedly web site). I also have Cyberpatrol 7.7 and Norton 360 2.0 installed, one of which I suspect might be part of the problem.

What do you see when you try to load the following URL (replace $userId by your google reader user id - a 10 digit number)
http://s4.feeddo.com/users.v2/$userId/profile
I am updating the code so that the error message includes the URL. It will go out as part of the patch we will push out tomorrow.3 Comments

Actually, the problem seems to have corrected itself. I don't know whether it was a problem with Feedly or not, but it isn't a problem for me any longer. -
I downloaded Feedly today and still can't get it to load. I don't have a 10 digit reader id, it only asks for my email address and password. Am I doing something wrong??

Hi Greg. Can you please post a screenshot of the error message you are seeing after clicking on the feedly button and loging into you Google Account? Can you also please a screenshot of the message section of the firefox error console (see firefox menu: tools : error console : message tab). I am hoping that the messages in the console might give us some hint regarding the problem you are experiencing. Thank you.
