Problem on FF 3.5 using feedly 1.2b
Feedly works after initial install/restart, but on the next restart, the feedly toolbar button disapears, and all feedly pages appear blank. The addons screen then shows that feedly is not compatible with ff3.5. Then I uninstalled it, reinstalled the latest version, and it worked again until I close and reopen ff again. I have done this process 4 times now.

Inappropriate?Hmm. Sorry about that. Which version of firefox 3.5? I will try to see if I can reproduce this problem.
-
Inappropriate?Firefox/3.5 (.NET CLR 3.5.30729). its the newest version through beta auto update.
-
Inappropriate?Ok. Will take a look at this later this afternoon and will keep you posted.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks so much. I love the feedly UI and hope that I can use it again soon
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Eric. As a work around, can you please try to install it from http://update.feedly.com/release/feed... This will help us understand if the issue is on the build side or on the mozilla add-ons side.

this solves the problem

Inappropriate?I am having the exact same issue - I will install the same version of feedly if it helps try to resolve it
-
Inappropriate? That seems to have fixed the problem! Thanks Ed!
-
Inappropriate?Seems to have resolved it for me too (at this stage). I installed and restarted a few times, but feedly stays there.
Thanks edwk! -
Inappropriate? If anyone is still seeing this problem then it would be really useful to know what other extensions and anti-virus tools you have installed, also if there is a file called extensions.log and what its contents are in your Firefox profile folder (see http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/P... for instructions to find it).
This is most likely a problem in Firefox rather than Feedly so filing a bug with Firefox wouldn't go amiss either (http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/) -
Inappropriate?Update: We received additional information from the Mozilla team. The problem is not actually on the firefox side. Instead, it seems that the feedly patch mechanism is not compatible with the mechanism Mozilla uses for verifying compatibility.
The short term work around is to use http://update.feedly.com/release/feed... until we better understand Mozilla's policy constraints regarding patching and we adapt feedly.
Thanks to the Mozilla add-ons team for helping use troubleshooting this issue.

Inappropriate?Update: We have been working on a fix regarding this problem and will be pushing out a new version of the feedly add-on tomorrow. We will update this thread when we do so.

Inappropriate?I have the same problem with 2a and Firefox 3.5 on an Intel Mac. I am now in some sort of loop where I am unable to uninstall Feedly 2a to try the alternate sites.
-
No need to un-install. Just point your browser to http://update.feedly.com/release/feed... -
Sorry. I tried this several times with the same result. -
Inappropriate?I have tried the updated version of Feedly with no help. I upgraded to FF 3.5.3 with no help. I still get the Feedly not compatible with FF. Any other suggestions ?
-
Inappropriate?I have Firefox 3.5.5 but on Sow Leopard iMac Intel.
