Refreshing almost never completes
This is my feedly experience so far:
"Refreshing digest. Please wait..."
Cover also has a section "Loading" indefinitely. Other content such as twitter does display.
Windows 2003 server, Firefox 3.0.11, Feedly 2.0.a
I've only seen it complete once or twice.

Inappropriate?Sorry about that. It must be a bug. Do you see any error messages in the firefox error console? (firefox menu > tools > error console > errors or messages panel)
-
Inappropriate?Yes, two (I also see warnings and info messages, but I can't export the console, so I'm not bothering with them for the moment):
Error: syntax error

I replaced user id with xxx for security reasons. These look like my "friends" in Gmail/GR. -
Inappropriate?I too suffer from the same problem... its been happening for the past one week. I am using the latest feedly 2.0a
Currently using Firefox 3 in Linux
I’m frustrated

Vish can you please take two screenshots: one of the messages section of the firefox error console and one of the error section of the firefox error console (right after you click on refresh and post them here so that we can determine if there is an exception occuring in the background? -
The last error message [FlowUtils][sequence][error] is probably the cause of it. Thanks for the heads up. Going to try to take a look at it this evening and keep you posted. -
great -
Reviewing the code. It seems that this problem could happen if you do not have any categories defined in feedly (or at least no categories with unread articles). Is that your case? Do you have categories defined in feedly? -
fyi, all my feeds are in categories -
Inappropriate?Fixed as part of 2.0a.007. Build now available on http://www.feedly.com Thanks for the heads up.
-
thanks.. it works great now! :) -
Inappropriate?now i get the refreshing issue in the Cover :(
here are the messages in the error console
[feedly][reader]compacted memory final. pruned = 0 + 0 -- over time:23 -- remaining:0 -- duration: 0ms
[feedly][reader]starting unread cound synchronization...
[feedly][reader] processing new set of unread counts.
[feedly][reader]unread count synchronization complete.
from the Warnings in the error console

Inappropriate?compacted memory final. pruned = 0 + 0 -- over time:23 -- remaining:0 -- duration: 0ms seems to say that you have no unread articles...could that be the case? are you logged into the right google account?
-
I have no unread articles, and I've only one google account :) -
Inappropriate?I'm having the same trouble with Digest and Cover not refreshing. Firefox 3.5, OS X, Feedly 2.0a.009. Everything's categorized, and I have 9 unread items (in two different categories). Logged out/in to Google Reader + Feedly to no avail.

I'm getting the same error regarding my followed GReder friends' photos:
Error: syntax error
Source File: http://s4.feedly.com/users.v2/0925351...
Line: 1, Column: 1
Source Code:
[{"photoURL":"http://www.google.com/s2/photos/public/ ...
One of my friends has a few unread articles, and I right-clicked on his missing favicon in Feedly under "Featured Sources" and got this:
Not Found
The requested URL /production/2.0a.009/11001253344735757217/state/com.google/favicon.ico was not found on this server.
Okay, that's probably enough. Hope this helps.
I’m pretty much a Feedly fan.
