repeated downloads of feedly, shows in AddOns, BUT no function at all
Sometime long ago I said Yes to adding Feedly. Since then, every single time I start the browser (Firefox 3), a new download of Feedly begins.
Feedly shows normally in my "Add Ons" window of Firefox. However, despite the above, there is no sign of *any* Feedly function, nor any way to initiate this. Nor does the downloading (auto) ever stop.... WT...? At this point I am about to seek a way to get rid of the entire mess but wanted to give it one last chance to attain functional status....
Any suggestions?

Inappropriate?Hello Becky, we apologize for the confusion and frustration. Here are the answers to your questions.
The downloads you are seeing when the browser restarts are patches which are being applied to feedly to address bugs and enhancements requested by users in this forum. The latest version of feedly (http://update.feedly.com/release/feed...) has a more efficient way to applying patchs so you might want to try it. Also in the version we will be pushing out in Dec, users will be able to see the change logs of each patch and decide to apply them, skip them or automatically apply them (which is the current behavior).
When you first installed feedly, it should have added a feedly button (orange or green RSS icon depending on the version) to your firefox toolbar. If it did not, you can manually add it by right click on the toolbar, selecting customize and drag and dropping the feedly button on the toolbar. You can also access your feedly from http://www.feedly.com/feedly#my and bookmark this URL for future visit.
We are here to try to address any question you might have while trying to get up to speed with feedly.
In case none of these end up address your concerns, here is a 4-step guys regarding how to cleanly uninstall feedly from your firefox.
Please let us know if there is anything else we can do.
