Search into specific feeds
Hi,
Don't get me wrong, feedly is a GREAT tool and I definitely love it. Still, one thing used to be here but seems having vanished for good: the ability to search within a specific folder or a specific subscription (like Google Reader does).
I want it back! Pleeeeaaaaase!
No seriously, when looking for a coding article and eventually getting results from every single subscription (from Coding feeds to Cooking ones, or News feeds or Fishing in Cornwall feeds or whatever...) is usually all but useful... And finally brings me to go back to Google Reader and make my search there.
Any hope to see that function back sometime...?

Inappropriate? Thanks for the kind words and sorry for the frustration.
The functionality is hidden in that it exist but there is not UI for it.
For example:
will search for all the TED related articles in my "entrepreneurship" category.
http://www.feedly.com/home#category/entrepreneurship[search.TED
I understand your frustration: we will try to see if we can bring this functionality back without adding clutter to the UI (we are trying very very hard to simplify the UI). I will talk to the team about this at our team meeting on Friday and will try to see what we can do. I will update this thread.
Thank you,
Edwin -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the quick answer! I suspected some hidden query indeed, but I still had to discover it. I guess it'll do the trick for now but despite your concerns about the UI cluttering (which I totally understand as UX is one of my daily personal concerns as well) I keep thinking it's a must have functionality.
Thanks anyway,
Gilles -
Inappropriate?Hi,
Any progress on that one...?
Thanks,
Gilles
