Strange behaviors in feed view with Entire Content Inlined
I'm not sure that there aren't more symptoms, but auto-select on scroll doesn't work and the keyboard navigation doesn't work either. E.g., 'j' gives a message box "loading articles" and 'k' (with bottom article selected) gives message box saying 'at top'. Navigation works fine in image and summary view.
In the error console on refresh:
[feedly][expandedList][error] failed to display articles because TypeError -- this.isDestroyed is not a function [.../js/10101_feedly_2142.js@1187]
[feedly][list][error] failed to display articles because TypeError -- this.isDestroyed is not a function [.../js/10101_feedly_2142.js@1187]
(There were also various warnings about style related things which resulted in declarations being dropped. Let me know if you want that detail.)

Inappropriate? Thanks for the heads up. Will try to reproduce it and keep you posted. -Edwin

Inappropriate?Ok. found the cause of the exception. But I am not sure if that is the root cause of the problem you are seeing. Are you able to reproduce this problem all them time? j/k works for me (although I did not expect that it would frame the content of the article and show comments, etc.. Mark as read on scroll works for me to (can you please double check your preference setting on that one). I am going to continue to look into this.

Inappropriate?Yep. Tried another feed. Reproduces with either yes or inlined-only as the "Auto-Select On Scroll" preference selection.
May be platform dependent if you don't see the same thing. I'm on XP with FF 3.0.4. -
Inappropriate?OK. I will push out later today a daily build with the fix to the error message to see if that fixes the problem. It could be platform specific, but if I had to bet it is something else. I will send you an email when the daily build is out. -Edwin

Inappropriate?fixed the problem related to the error message in 1.2.91. Please let us know if that fixes the bad behavior you were seeing or if the 2 are unrelated.

Inappropriate?Functional again, but now very quirky. Scrolling and the navigation keys work again, but not in concert. The j and k keys result in an inline expansion-type box around the article. The selection box moves with the j and k keys, but not with the scroll bar. Scrolling changes the selected article as indicated by the left bar. Thus using a combination of the keys and scrolling results in the weird occurrence of one article selected with a box and a different article with the bar.

Inappropriate?Understood. Will look into it. -Edwin
-
Inappropriate?Fixed in 1.2.93:
- Entire content inline works as expected with regarding to scrolling and keyboard navigation.
- Added keyboard navigation to the greatest page.
- Improved scrolling to top of the element on keyboard navigation so that there is no more flickering.
Please let us know if any of those do not work as advertised.
Edwin
I’m thankful
