The Calais Overlay does not appear when clicked under Linux
Hi,
Love feedly, but unfortunately I'm unable to use the Calais Overlay. Nothing happens when I click on the link.
My useragent is "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121623 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.5"
I'm using a AMD64 processor and a 64bit OS.

Inappropriate?Hi Luke. Nice to meet you. The functionality should be cross platform so I am wondering if this could be a content issue rather than a platform issue.
Can you please do me a favor and try to run the calais action on this page:
http://www.feedly.com/home#entry/6877824246887683480
Background Info: The version of the calais service we have integrated in feedly currently only supports english. I will talk to the team to improve the experience and notify the user when the request works but the response is an empty set of entities.
Keep us posted.
Thank you -
Inappropriate?Hi Edwin,
Yes, it does work when using that link, so the problem seems to be a content rather than platform problem.
However, all of my feeds are in English, and even those of relatively popular sites, such as Lifehacker, TechCrunch, and Slashdot, have this issue.
That link was the first time the overlay had worked in my experience; all other times nothing happens at all. -
Inappropriate?THanks for the confirmation. We will double check with some of the techcrunch and lifehacker articles to see if it is a feedly client issue or if it is the case of calais not being able to extract entries. Putting a notification with the number of entities extracted will help disambiguate. Will try to get something in by the end of this week. Will let you know when it is in.

Inappropriate?Update: better notification has been integrated in the 1.2.179 patch we pushed out this evening. Please let us know if you still see an inconsistent experience.
