Inappropriate?question: do you have any unread articles in your google reader. I think that there is a bug in feedly where the message is confusing if the sources are well configured but none have unread articles.
If that is the problem, please wait until tomorrow and check feedly again. -
Inappropriate?I have a whole bunch of unread articles in my Google Reader from today.
-
Inappropriate?I'm having the same issue. "What's New" is blank with that message. "All" works fine, but it doesn't remove read stuff, even with "unread only" checked.
I’m disappointed
-
Inappropriate?jrblaze.
Sorry for the disappointment. I am going to try to help but I need a little more information regarding what is going on.
Can you please try this:
1. overwrite your extension by pointing the browser to http://update.feeddo.com/release/feed..., go through the install and make sure to restart the browser.
2. after restarting the browser, click on the orange feedly icon in the browser toolbar.
3. wait until the "What's new page" loads
4. If it is still empty, please look at the firefox > tools > error console and see if you see any messages starting with [feedly] in the error and messages session of the console. If yes, please share them here so that we get a sense of what could be going wrong. -
Inappropriate?Okay I followed your setups. I overwrote the extension, restarted my browser, clicked the feedly button on my toolbar, let the "What's New?" page, where the articles should be shows "This page is empty. Please connect your feedly to a set of sources and a set of social connections first." So I opened teh Error console and this is what I found:
[feedly]feedlyExtension.onLocationChange():hashSync:
[feedly]Registering plugin: relatedAnnotation
[feedly]Registering plugin: yahooFinanceAnnotation
[feedly]Registering plugin: eightBallAnnotation
[feedly][dependencies]reader: true | trends: true | profile: true | reco: true | preferences: true | keywords: true
[feedly]LoadPage: my
[feedly]feedlyExtension.onLocationChange():hashSync:#my
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Okay after playing around with Feedly more I added some more sources by selecting Technology and Games from the "Best Of" section and now I have articles in my "What's New?" section. I don't know why articles weren't showing up with just my feed from Google Reader but now it's working. Thanks for your help.
I’m happy and excited.

Inappropriate?can you please attach a screenshot? Also do you have categories/folders defined? and unread articles?
-
Inappropriate?Hi Edwin - I have Feedly installed but the button is missing (not in customizable toolbars either). The COVER page is blank. (But the other tabs, like RIVER work fine). Any suggestions? I have unread articles and some feeds are in folders in Google Reader.
I’m wondering
-
Inappropriate?SilkCharm - This must be a bug. The correct behavior is that every folder you have in Google Reader should be represented by a tab on the navigation bar and a column on the cover page. Please give us a couple of days and I will try to given you access to a build with more debug information so that we can get a better understanding as to why feedly is not representing your categories correctly. -Edwin

Inappropriate?Same problem here, reinstalled the plugin twice... Removed al my feeds and added them again... nothing works!
I'm going crazy :) So hope you guys can fix this.....
I’m frustrated
-
Inappropriate?Hi Silvan. Sorry for the frustration. Where are you importing all your sources from? What do you mean by I removed all my sources and added them again? Can you please attach a screenshot of what you are seeing in http://www.feedly.com/feedly#springcl...
Thanks,
Edwin -
Inappropriate?Hi Edwin. Thanks already for the fast response.
My Sources are mostly RSS feeds from different sites. I mean i unsubscribed all my RSSfeeds, and re-added them.
Here is a screenshot of the "Spring cleaning" you asked for:
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?OK. This tells that you are subscribed to 8 RSS sources, 4 of which have unread articles and 3 of which that do not have unread articles. What do you see on the greatest and latest pages? greatest: http://www.feedly.com/feedly#my
There are 2 things you can do over time to improve feedly if you add more sources: 1) in the spring cleaning page, click on the star next to the sources you like the most. 2) you can click on edit subscription and group sources into tabs. -
Inappropriate?Well the greatest page is also empty. The latest page just works fine.
I just put al the sources in one group, and it seems that the "Greatest" page is back working... The cover still doesn't work.
When i click on the group tab, i get a better overview, but why aren't they showing up like the most recent article on top?! It's also kinda annoying.
I’m undecided
-
Inappropriate?I will open a bug against content not being integrated in the greatest unless it is in a category. This should not be necessary.
In the cover you should see 2 columns: one of the category you created and another called explore. Could you please attach a screenshot of your cover so that I can open a bug if this is not what you are seeing.
Finally, regarding the view you get regarding a category, the articles at the top are recommendations (based on your own reading pattern and sharing performed by other feedly and google reader users). You have a way to influence the recommendations by marking a subset of the sources you subscribe too as favorite.
Please let us know if you have suggestions on how to improve any part of the experience and we will try to integrate it in.
