Inappropriate? This problem happens if feedly si unable to parse the Google Reader page and extract subscription information from it.
1) Can please try to log out and log back in?
2) If that does not work, can you please load http://www.google.com/reader/view/ do a view source and email it to edwink@devhd.com? It will help us understand what parsing problem feedly is running into.
Thank you.
Edwin

my google reader session had expired, so after logging in again to google reader, feedly works again -
Inappropriate?Thank to the couple of people who sent use the HTML for http://www.google.com/reader/view/
We are looking into the problem and will update you every hour of our progress. -
Inappropriate? We think we understand what the cause of the problem might be. There are multiple versions of Google Reader out there. Feedly 1.2.190 currently only works with the latest version of Google Reader. We are making some changes to adapt feedly to the older versions of Google Reader. We should have a patch out in 6-8 hours.
-
Inappropriate?I'm not sure about this Edwin, because the version of Google Reader I'm using is the latest version.
I’m confused
-
I think that the different versions look visually the same. The just seem to have a different way to load the subscription information. In some cases, the subscription information is embedded in the HTML as a javascript variable. In some other cases, we received emails where the subscription information is not embedded in the HTML (in which case our guess is that Google Reader does an extra HTTP request to extract that information as JSON). We tried to address both cases in 1.2.191. Please try it and let us know if it addresses the issue you were seeing. -
Inappropriate?Update: We just pushed out 1.2.191 Can you please try to restart the browser and see if the loading issue goes away. Please keep us posted.

Inappropriate?Not same error now:

Inappropriate?Still can't load it: error message now says: "Unable to access the feedly service because [reader][0002] failed to integrate with Feedly because failed to get feedly subscriptions : http://s4.feedly.com/users.v2/1280990.... Error:-1 -- [error] failed to GET http://s4.feedly.com/users.v2/1280990... because TypeError -- bt is undefined [...pp/js/10101_core_2408.js@331]."
I’m sad
-
Inappropriate?additionally, when I try to reload, feedly tells me I'm signed off, even when I've just signed in again.
-
Inappropriate?ok will take a look at this as soon as I am back in the office. This error is on our side of the wall and should be easier to fix
-
Inappropriate?Just adding my name to the list of "Unable to load feedly" people this morning.
I have tried logging out and logging back in but still am having issues.
I’m desperate

Inappropriate?I'm running 1.2.191 and getting a new error after the same problem:

Inappropriate?Update: I am at the office now and working on this problem. I am not able to reproduce it yet.
Can someone, running 1.2.191 and this issue, restart the browser try to login and see if they see in their console:
[feedly][reader] available (using API). subscriptions=542, state=459, userId=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX, friends=5, tags=78
Can you please share what the line looks like in your case? I am trying to see if we are able to extract the subscriptions from Google Reader.
Thanks. -
I started having the same problem yesterday. I have been using Feedly for the past few weeks without incident. My problems began immediately after installing the FF addon: WebMynd. After this Feedly stopped working. I uninstalled WebMynd and Feedly. Reinstalled latest version of Feedly and the issue persisted. Here's what happens.
I click on the Feedly button in my FF browser. I'm always logged into my Gmail so when I had previously clicked on this button it took me right to the home page. Now whenever I click on it (even when logged in to google) it prompts me for the password. Upon entering the password I receive the following error:
Unable to access the feedly service because [reader][0002] failed to integrate with Feedly because failed to get feedly subscriptions : http://s4.feedly.com/users.v2/0315029.... Error:-1 -- [error] failed to GET http://s4.feedly.com/users.v2/0315029... because TypeError -- bt is undefined [...pp/js/10101_core_2408.js@331]. Sorry! You might want to try to reload or sign out and sign back in. If the problem persists, please contact us on twitter or getsatisfaction.
I also went to a different computer in my office (same ip address of course) and signed into a different gmail account and experienced the same problem. Could it be ip related? It's weird. This has been working flawlessly for me up until the last 24 hours. -
@netenpr: could you look at the last message on this treat and email me a screenshot of your firefox error console after you start? my email is edwink@devhd.com -
Inappropriate? How do I bring up the console to see this?
-
firefox menu > tools > error console > messages sub tab. It would be ideal if you could take a screenshot of the messages sub tab right after you login. -
Inappropriate?I'm sorry - but in closing the browser and restarting - Feedly is back to normal. No error messages whatsoever.
Never realized till today how essential it is to my workflow now - if it happens again I'll forward the necessary info. Thank you.

Thanks Yanick. This is useful. Could you please take a screenshot of the entire boot sequence? I would like know if the feedly core is able to load or not. It would be great if you could email it to me at: edwink@devhd.com -
Inappropriate?Update: Thanks to a screenshot of Luis, we are able to understand and reproduce the problem. We should have a patch out in 2-3 hours. Sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience. We will update this thread as soon as the patch is out.

Thanks Ramage. Very useful! -
Inappropriate?Update: We just pushed out patch 1.2.193. It includes a fix to the problems we ware able to reproduce using the information collected on this thread. When you have a minute, can you please restart firefox to get patched to 1.2.193 and confirm that you are not seeing any loading issue anymore?
(thank you for all the help and sorry for the inconvenience)
