Unsharing doesn't work in last version
Regression in latest versions? I've noticed "unsharing" doesn't work any longer. Hopefully it's just a bug and not a new "feature" ;-)

hi jmm. Sorry about that. Can you please clarify what you mean by "sharing my front page"? Feedly only allows you to share individual articles and when you click on the share (thumbs up icon), you can click on the thumb icon when it is set to unshare that article. Can you please attach a screenshot of what you clicked on?

Inappropriate?It is a little complicated. A lot of new users were confused by the difference between share and share with note. So we tried to address this issue by unifying those two concepts. Unfortunately, there is no simple undo for share with note so the lowest hanging fruit was to remove unshare.
I understand you point and the right thing to do here would be to put in the energy and add do and undo for both share, share with note and undo. But it is not a trivial change and it might take us a few weeks to get there.
In the meantime, we are going to monitor this thread and see how many people are really annoyed by this change and if this get escalated, we will try to see if we can change a few priorities and get that done sooner.

Inappropriate?Hello and thanks for offering this trial. Not knowing your product's interface, I very soon ended up sharing my front page. Therefore I have compromised the privacy of an info source gathering app I have used extensively for a long time.
The fact that this mistake cannot be undone could end up with a good number of unhappy first time users. My own perception is that Feedly improves the layout of Google Reader and, possibly, its features -my mistake hasn't left me time to explore the rest.
However, I do wonder if it would make sense for users to move to an app which doesn't include simple features of the well-thought app it is building itself upon.
I would like to get back to your app but this feature would be essential. Because I do make mistakes and I am used to being able to undo them. At least in this kind of software.

Inappropriate?Thanks for your prompt reply. I didn't find the icons, went to the support pages and found the old posts and your own about the unsharing option not being available. Now I have seen the icons are active, read a bit about privacy in Feedly and am back to being impressed with the app. Is it going to remain free?

We are working very very hard to try to keep the current version free. We also have a "feedly plus" version for people who use feedly inside a company and want support but it is not our main focus.
