Version 1.2.42 not syncing properly with Google Reader
The first problem I'm having is Feedly is not updating my read item correctly. The first image shows that I have no read item is Google Reader in my USA Today feed.
This image shows Feedly says I have some unread items in the same feed in the sidebar.
The next problem is not all of my feeds are syncing between Google Reader and Feedly. This image shows that I have unread items in my Lifehacker feed on Google.
This one shows that Feedly hasn't pulled that feed over to sync.
As a result I have to bounce back and forth between Feedly and Google Reader to make sure I'm up to date on all of my feeds.

Inappropriate?I was just checking the new layout on the Dashboard and noticed that the missing sidebar feeds are missing from there as well. Here's the screen shots from Google Reader and the Feedly dashboard.

I hope that helps in narrowing down the problem. Thanks. :)
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?David. Thanks for the additional information. We spent a couple of hours yesterday but we were not able to reproduce this problem. I am in meeting the rest of the day today. I will try to bring this up at our team meeting this evening. Expect to get a new build from us to get more debug messages when feedly load either on Sunday or on Monday. Thank you and have a great week end. -Edwin

Inappropriate? With the update to 1.2.44 I've noticed that all my feeds are now showing up in Feedly. I'm still, however, having problems with feeds with no unread items showing up saying that I have items to read.
Thanks for all your work on this. I'm really looking forward to Feedly becoming the best place to keep track of all my RSS feeds.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate? Thanks for the update Dave. When you see the unread count not empty and when you click there are no unread items, do you see the counter self correct itself down to 0?
-
Inappropriate? When I check and see there are no unread items, the count will show a number. I'll then click to reset it to zero and it does zero out.
If I close my browser and relaunch it later, that's when the count resets itself.
Can I post links to YouTube? If so I'll try to make a video of what's going on to see if that helps. -
Inappropriate?A video would be very very useful. You should be able to post a link to youtube. Otherwise my email is edwink@devhd.com

Inappropriate?I made a video, hope it helps.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the video. It is very useful. There is something really broken. We look into it over the week end. Expect to hear from us on Monday. Sorry for the inconvenience! and have a great week end.

Inappropriate?David: two more questions please.
Question 1:
Could you please take a look at the firefox error console (menu > tools > error console) and please see if there are any [feedly]... related message in the error or messages section? a few screenshots of the messages section would be helpful because it would allow use to see what feedly does during the boot sequence and potentially why the number of unread articles is not getting updated.
Question 2:
if you are still able to reproduce the problem you are showing in the video, could you please clear the firefox cache and then restart firefox and see if the unread information is still invalid or not?
Many thanks for the time you are spending helping us understand where the bug is!! -
Inappropriate?Great video, David. This is exactly what happens to me.
-
Inappropriate? Thanks for the input Lily. We are going to try to hunt this problem tomorrow. Please expect to hear from us on Monday. Have a good week end! -Edwin

Inappropriate?Found one case where the unread count was artificially increased in feedly. That problem was fixed in 1.2.47. Next time you start the browser and get upgraded to 1.2.47, could you please let me know if you can still experience this problem? Thank you!

Inappropriate? So fare everything seems to be working fine. If I have any other problems I'll let you know.
I’m happy
