Why can't I download and install Feedly?
I used Feedly for a while but a few months back, it suddenly disappeared off my toolbar and I've tried several times to reload it on Firefox and it just doesn't work...I got nothing...any thoughts? I miss my Feedly!

Inappropriate?I am not sure.
You can try this:
install the latest version from http://update.feedly.com/release/feed...
after install+restart access http://www.feedly.com/my to access your feedly
right click on the firefox toolbar and select customize to add the button back.
Hope this helps. -
Inappropriate?Just today, I started having the same problem. The solution you've laid out doesn't work. If you'll read the issue above more carefully, you'll see the individual says they've attempted (as have I) several times to reload feedly without success.
If we can't get it to install properly, what good is it going to do to "right click" on the FF toolbar? You can't customize Firefox and add a button for an extension that isn't already downloaded.

Hi Jeff. Sorry for the frustration. Can you try to save http://update.feedly.com/release/feed... manually on your desktop and then drag and drop that saved file to a firefox window and see if that path triggers the install? Do you see feedly listed in the firefox add-ons window? -
By the way, http://www.feedly.com/my is also an invalid link. -
Inappropriate?Yes, feedly is listed in the firefox add-on window and says "Restart Firefox." After doing that and I go back to the add-ons window, I still see feedly listed and I still see "Restart Firefox." Nothing changes. I've done it a dozen times now and still don't know why it doesn't fully download after the restart or why it disappeared from my tool bar in the first place.
As for the link you supplied above, it's incomplete and doesn't help me. If I go to feedly.com, I'm only given the option of downloading it to my to my add-on window, at which point I again have the situation described above. In other words, I'm not given the option for downloading it any other way.
What am I don't wrong?

Ahh. My bad. There was a typo in the link. If feedly is installed (which seems to be the case -
Not sure why get satisfaction ate some of that. Here is the correct link: http://www.feedly.com/home
If feedly is correctly installed visiting that page should load your feedly (this is the same URL the green button usually opens). -
Inappropriate?Again, feedly is not correctly installed since I CAN'T install it at all. That's the whole point.
I’m fed up!

I am not sure. May be something is corrupted in the firefox extension cache. The only things I can thing about are a) create a new firefox profile or b) go to your existing firefox profile folder, delete extensions.cache, extensions.ini and extensions.rdf and restart firefox for those files to be re-generated. And retry the install at that point.
