Can't use the Gecko-state!
Although I have now downloaded the version 2.8.3 of Sleipnir (as the -en-IN.exe file) three times, I have been unable to make it work in the Gecko-state, it works well enough with Trident, but I greatly prefer Gecko bowsers. Every time I put it in Gecko-state, it simply stops totally working. This may have to do with the fact that each time when I finish installing it gives a message about not having been able to install a file from the Gecko-plugin. What do I do? (And by the way, why do you use the name of the horse of the Old Norse god Odin's horse for a Japanese browser - I thought it might be from Iceland!)

Inappropriate?Hi, Thank you for your inquiry.
Sleipnir's main engine is Trident and you can only use limited features when you use Gecko. You can see pages with it but may not be able to download or install files unfortunately.
About the name "Sleipnir", yes, it came from Norse myth.
You can check why we named the browser Sleipnir at the "Secret 2" on our Fenrir Inc's secrets page:

Thank you.
