ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I have been a loyal fido customer for the past 5 years with the city fido plan. I understanding that a lot of other mobile carriers out there offer free phones or great price for new phones to their loyal customer when they renew their contact. Last week I decided to call a customer service rep. The only answer I got from them is that, I have to end my current contract after my current contact is up and subscribe as a new customer in order to get the new iphone or I can buy it for $799.00. Would never go with FIDO again, if this is the way how you treat you loyal customer.
I call fido again for some technical support a few days ago. The representative told me that, my identification is wrong. My name and DOB does not match their account info. I provided to him with all my details and still he would not want to assist me. I call them for a simple technical question, it has nothing to do with my acct, and he insists that I have to go to a local dealer and straight thing out. After a long battle with him, I asked for his supervisor, not only he would not let me speak to his supervisor because he don’t believe I am their customer. When I ask for his name and ID. He hung up on me. I immediately call customer service back, this time, some one was able to confirmation my identification. But, still would no allow me to speak to a supervisor. Given the reason that all their supervisors and managers are busy.
I never experience such poor customer service from anyone before. Thank god there are many other mobile communication providers out there now. No way have I wanted to stick with FIDO once my contact is up.
