spanish keyboard input of email address. Using a spanish keyboard, you need to press ALT-2 to get an @ sign.. the filterbox input of the email for login comes up with Block characters. To login, I have to cut/paste my email, or manually erase the block chars.

Inappropriate?Same with Portuguese characters. Looks as if they hadn't enabled utf8 handling, Karl. First time I ever saw this happen in a textfield.
In fact there is no international support for content either so........................

Inappropriate?Hi Karl,
I've got the same problem with my keyboard (Spanish). I've being looking into this problem all day long as I need myself to solve it for a RIA I'm developing. Found this:
http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/FP-40
So it seems it is actually a linux plugin problem. They describe a "kind of" workaround but no definite solution. Bug status is in progress. Perhaps Stanislav's solution (see link) can be implemented here by catching keyboard sequences and remaping the symbols for TextInput control.
I’m amused
