We have heard some reports of occasional crashes. We are working on a fix as our highest priority and hope to have it ready for submission very soon.
However while you are waiting there may be something you can do. Some of the crashes people are experiencing may be related to music playback. You could try playing your own iTunes playlist before starting the game, and then select sound on when the game starts up. That way you will have in-game sound FX, but instead of Real Racing's music you will have your own. We believe that this may alleviate some crashes until the first update. You could also try just turning sound off altogether, but that is a different thing to playing your own music. That is, turning sound off is not necessarily better than simply playing your own music. Try both, and I hope it alleviates the problem for those who have reported it....until the first update. We're very sorry for any interruptions to your gameplay that this may be causing!

Inappropriate?Help the game crashes after playing for awhile, particularly it crashes every time when I was playing Notting Forest in Beecherton Enduro, so I cant get through to the next race!
The graphic, the gameplay and the AI etc. are all excellent but it is not quite stable...so when will the crashing problem be fixed/ a new update come out!?

Inappropriate?Apple is sure taking its time on this one... I guess all attention is on 3.0 and 3GS.

Inappropriate?Whoops you're right, that was a miscommunication between me and Chris, who is the producer - I assumed 1.1 without checking with him first! It is 1.01, 1.1 is still in development.

Inappropriate?I'm sorry Greg, we had some unforeseen problems with the update and it has taken longer than expected, but we are hopeful it will be available soon. Sadly we don't know the date. Not much concrete information I know, but it's the best we have!

Inappropriate?Dear magicians, firstly, brilliant game, love it, but im not just here to praise you. Theres been a slight problem with Real Racing, almost everytime I play career mode it freezes up and crashes. This is so frustrating and frequent that it is starting to put me off from playing. Are you guys aware of this, and is there an update coming soon?

I just purchased the game and its crashing all the time. Seems to be mostly when syncing with cloudcell. Not the best first impression.
By the way i am running it on an iPhone 3GS 32GB with 3.0 software.

We've been working hard to optimise the Real Racing experience for some time now. I hope you find that after the most recent update, that you no longer experiencing these difficulties.
