off the top of my head, 2 things:
1: when my thumbnail shows up in other people's "following" & "followers", it doesn't change when i take a new pic like it used to. i really don't like the one it stuck with, but even in general i'd like to be able to change it.
2: the comments on the profile page are not listed "most recent first" anymore. i would reallllly like the option to have it that way.

1.) The following thumbnail. Currently the followers and following are being cached because they were taking forever to load so the page was not loading quickly enough. I'm working on a solution to make them load faster with less caching but for the time being that's the way it works. When someone else follows or unfollows you it will refresh, but I understand why you don't like this.
2.) Comments still need some work. I'm going to change the order and i'm going to remove the pagination altogether as soon as I can cache them properly so that they load quickly. But you are absolutely correct about both of those things. I'm also going to add the moderate feature back in so no worries there. So look for commenting to get a hell of a lot better very soon.
How do you like the threaded commenting (the ability to reply)?
I know it seems like I pulled the rug out from under everyone with this change, but trust me. Things are about to get much better very soon. -

So yeah that's not a bad idea to have people choose. I'd have to make it part of the picture taking process. perhaps a button under the picture right after you take it that says set to default or something like that. That would actually give me the opportunity to expire the cache when the button was clicked which would prevent you from seeing stale images and at the same time not suffer a performance hit.
Yeah when I say remove the pages i'm thinking of doing something like the way bing does there images where it's basically an endless scroll so you first comments would be at the top and as the user scrolled the box the other comments would fill in.

Thanks for the heads up about the email notification. I'll fix that in about 10 seconds, but still the more perfect I can make the site the better. I really appreciate all the feedback.. -

So I have made some changes per your request. You'll notice that the followers/following are showing the latest picture instead of a random picture from whenever. Secondly you should see that the comments on the profile are ordered from most recent to oldest with a more comments button at the bottom of the page. Hopefully this will tide things over while I continue work to improve the site.

with the thumbnails, i see what you're saying and i hope there's some simple solution to this. is it possible to let people choose 1 profile image and use that for the follow stuff? im not sure if this is more or less a pain in the ass haha
and for the comments, if you remove the pages, will people still be able to see their old comments? btw i didn't think about this earlier but is there still the ability to send private messages? could just be that i didn't notice it, there's a lot of new stuff.
oh also, when you get an email notification about a comment or a new follow, the subject of the email stays the same. it always says something like "someone dropped you a comment" and when you open it sometimes turns out it's actually a follow. this is a super tiny thing but the subject should probably match lol
