My computer won't let me rate a single film

My computer won't let me rate a single film. I get server error when I try and "add to my flickchart" and on the home page I just get that 'loading' bar and it never goes away. I made two accounts to try either and nothing. I reinstalled my internet browser and tried different browsers. My friends' can use the site with my account but I can't. Something is wrong here
