Once you choose between two, it doesn't offer the choice again.
Love the sight; it's a great time killer and an interesting way of sorting our favorite movies.
However, I'm frustrated by two issues:
First, the lack of variety of movie choices.
You have many, but there is a vast collection of movies, directors, stars, eras that I have yet to be offered.
On the otherhand, I can't count how many times The Aviator pops up.
Second: it would be great if once you make a choice between two certain movies, you are never offered that choice again.
My favorite movie list simply isn't going anywhere because I keep winding up with the same choices. My favorite movie is never up against ones ahead of it on the list, but it is paired up with certain titles over and over again.

Be sure to try the filters (links directly above the posters) to rank By Genre, By Year, or By Decade to pinpoint exactly which films you'd like to rank. By default, the "All Movies" is what you start out at which will present more popular movies at first if you're new to the site. Drilling into the genres and years will give you a much broader selection to rank against.
We don't purposely show you the same matchups, those just come up at random. We also wouldn't want to completely eliminate the chance, in case you wanted/needed to change your mind. But if enough people think it's annoying, we'll certainly consider it.
You can rank any movie by searching for it and then choosing "Re-Rank this movie" to rank it 3 times in a row against other films in your list. We're working on an even better way though to manually position your films which we think will work even better than we have it now.

Inappropriate?I don't mind seeing the same films pop up, but when the same match-ups pop up, it bums me slightly. Oh... and I'll see your "The Aviator"...and raise you an "Apocalypto". That's the one that continually pops up for me. :)
