Ranking movies to get other related lists

At some point, and I understand if this doesn't come for some time, I would love to see aggregate rankings for various themes, filters, artists and such. By way of example, it would be fun to see how I rate the decades, or the years in an individual decade. You could do this by averaging the ratings for all films that meet the criteria and then ranking the options. This could work for all the filters already available (genre, decade, year (within a single decade and total)) as well as adding new information. Favorite actor or actress? Favorite director? Favorite studio? That kind of thing.
