A few services that would benefit Flock...
Just a few things you should be interested in:
Flock has come a long way in social networking, and really brings it all together. There's a couple of services that I don't see available with Flock though, and I thought I should mention them here.
There are many other services available that will benefit Flock in the future, but these are the more prominent ones I know of. Thanks for your time. - asoldier
Flock has come a long way in social networking, and really brings it all together. There's a couple of services that I don't see available with Flock though, and I thought I should mention them here.
- Wakoopa.com < A privacy-compliant software tracker that is installed (or loaded by USB in my case since I'm forced to use public terminals) and logs software usage. You can go to your profile, and write detailed descriptions of new software, and browse and rate software listed or used by others. You can write full reviews as well. Wakoopa is a valuable tool to any net-worthy computer user and would add some real power to Flock.
- Tarpipe.com < This deserves real attention. It's a multi-source social-networking publishing tool. It unites many of the same services available through Flock into a seamless publishing tool that can be used to update multiple accounts simultaneously via secure email. There are many other features, but that's enough to get you interested.
- DeviantArt.com < Probably the largest social-user-friendly-art website out there. Literally millions of submissions, hundreds of thousands of members, and powerful support. An integrated Journal / Deviation submission tool is what I'm getting at. Similar to the blogging tools for Wordpress etc. That will seriously increase the popularity of Flock.
- Yoono.com < A powerful social bookmarking tool. It's still up-and-coming, but deserves consideration.
- IRC < IRC in general is still a widely-used tool after decades of use. There are millions of users on thousands of servers with hundreds of channels, and it would be a shame of this fact was overlooked.
- IM < IM sure you've heard this already, but a multi-protocol IM integrated sidebar option would definitely add an attraction. Once again, keeping it lightweight, which has been the goal I've noticed.
There are many other services available that will benefit Flock in the future, but these are the more prominent ones I know of. Thanks for your time. - asoldier

Inappropriate?I would also add Social Browse. Social Browse was listed in flock addons for flock 1.0 but has been removed from the flock addon page for flock 2.0. Couldn't find it on firefox's addon page either. I really enjoyed using this extension. When someone using social browse would recommend a site it would pop up on my browser and I could look at it, ignore it, save it, up it, or down it. Really enhanced the browsing experience.
I’m hopeful

Inappropriate?Yes , I really think DeviantART should be added to the Flock browser. It is really popular and Flock would benefit greatly.
I’m hopeful that DeviantART will be added in the next version.

Inappropriate?Well, I used Wakoopa a while ago, but then I realized "why would I want to let EVERYBODY see what am I using?" Maybe I'm paranoic about this, but I don't want to share such things =S
DeviantArt? YES!!! davianart is art made social ;)
Yoono? Overwhelming.. I used in Firefox, but never actually get used to it. It's kind of what Flock is...but without the browser ;)
IRC/IM? I wouldn't do it. IRC would make Flock to loaded and thus slower (it's MY opinion...) and IM...well, there is enough programs out there, AND I think it would also overload Flock =/
I’m undecided
