AOL- staying logged in issues
my aol constantly logs me back out right after signing in. I have downloaded and installed the new version of flock a few times thinking they might have undated it but it has been doing it for over a month now. What can I do? I can check it through internet explorer but would really rather stay with one browser. and don't send me an email I can't even get it through internet explorer now because I am having another issue with it. Not linked to flock.

When logging in to AOL, be sure to select "Remember Me" on login. Also, be sure that Flock has been set to remember your password.
Are you sure that you do not have AOL to automatically sign you out after a certain amount of time? To check this, in the AOL mail menu, go to Settings and look for the section Auto Sign-Out. Make sure this is either not selected or that it is not set for a short period of time.

Inappropriate?I have done already done all of that. I no longer sign in and it signs out. I don't even have time to click on my mail. Yes the remember me is marked and Flock remembers my password. The aol setting is not marked . I checked it through internet explorer. But it is still doing the exact same thing. It so very irritating...Thanks though.

Hmm. Alrighty, try disabling your cookies, forgetting the account, and then signing in. To remove it's cookies, go to Tools >> Options >> Privacy >> Show Cookies. You can then either manually find and disable your AOL cookies, or you can select "Clear All Cookies" to nuke them all.
To forget an account, open the accounts and services sidebar and select "Forget Account" under AOL mail.
Then, go to aolmail.com and sign in.
