Inappropriate? It depends on the extension, as some won't work. The vast majority of extensions that work on Firefox 3 will work on Flock 2. You can try any of the extensions on addons.mozilla.org and you will probably find the ones you want install and operate the same as they would in Firefox.

Inappropriate?Hi avoura,
Please study the thread: "Add-ons & Extensions (Discussion)" and contribute with your replies.

Win XP Home SP2, ( IE8 ), Flock 2.0.3, ZoneAlarm Pro 7.0.483, NOD32 AV 4.0.424, Zemana AntiLogger 1.8.2.993
I’m sure, that you'll find good Firefox' extensions!

Inappropriate?Well I found that MacAfee Site Advisor does NOT work with Flock, unfortunately. Delicious Bookmarks does.
Sweidre, do you have a link for the thread? -
Inappropriate?Hi avoura,
The URL for my thread: "Add-ons & Extensions (Discussion)" is as follows:

I am informed, that McAfee SiteAdvisor does not work for Firefox neither. ( It works for IE though ). When McAfee SiteAdvisor will work for Firefox again, I think it should work for Flock, as well?!

I’m also waiting for SiteAdvisor!

Inappropriate? At first I could not get MacAfee SIte Advisor working in Firefox 3, but after downloading Swiftfox and running that, it takes on the extensions of Firefox, including Site Advisor, which then works perfectly in Swiftfox. Swiftfox is basically Firefox with a different name and it supposedly runs faster than Firefox. I now use Swiftfox for general browsing, especially when using Google, and use Flock for its social networking features, especially Facebook and Flickr, as well as browsing websites that I know are safe (but not for searching so much due to lack of Site Advisor).
I’m happy

Inappropriate?Hi avoura,
Thanks for your info! I'm glad, that you managed to get SiteAdvisor to work in your Swiftfox. ( Strange though, that SiteAdvisor does not work for Firefox at the moment. ) Hmm, I wonder how we can get SiteAdvisor to work in Flock ?! Based upon other threads in Flock, there are at least a handful of customers waiting for SiteAdvisor working in Flock!
I think, that wait and see is the best policy!

I’m still patiently waiting!

Inappropriate? After having installed Swiftfox, if I run Firefox again (instead of Swiftfox), the Site Advisor add-on works perfectly.
So I am thinking there must be a way to get it working in Flock.
