Delicious tags with Flock favorites
I have currently have Flock set to give me the option to save to both Flock and Delicious bookmarks when I save a page by clicking on the big star near the address bar. However, while I can check the box to save to Delicious, it doesn't let me add tags like I can do when using the official Delicious toolbar.
The Delicious integration should be improved so we don't need to sacrifice any functionality when using the Flock in-browser version.

Inappropriate?Charlie,
Just to clarify your request, are you referring to adding a tag to any online bookmark? If so, there's a Tag field in the "Edit This Favorite" dialog box, in which you can specify the desired Delicious tag(s) :

Or are you referring to the scenario where you can choose to save a page locally and online by default, but not a specific tag by default?
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Hey Sophie — You're totally right, for some reason I looked right past this.
I'm still hesitant to use it because it doesn't have the same autofill and send-to features that the real Delicious add-on has, however.
Also, wish I could show my Delicious bookmarks in the Flock toolbar, rather than the Firefox ones (it's nice having bookmark groups that update automatically, rather than the static Flock ones). I realize I can add the Delicious Toolbar and have it show underneath, but that takes up too much screenspace...but maybe that becomes more of a person problem? :)
Thanks!
Charlie
I’m happier, but not there yet.

Charlie,
Once you're logged in to your Delicious account, all of your Delicious tags should be listed in the drop down menu, by the "Tags" field, in the "Edit This Favorite" dialog box. I understand it's not the same as the autofill feature, but it might be an option to look into.
Also, all of your Delicious bookmarks should be listed in the Favorites menu and in the Favorites sidebar (click on the multi-star icon on this Flock toolbar:
.
Hope that helps a bit...

Inappropriate? This still loses a bit of the power of the Delicious toolbar set to "Favorite Tags view," where you can add the tags you'll need often (news, people, etc), and they're available across the top of the browser window.
This is a pretty minor gripe, but just another feature that I use a lot in Firefox. Like I mentioned, I can just do this by turning on the Delicious toolbar, but it seems like having an option of what toolbar to display next to the Flock commands would be really cool (that way, I could just set it to that Delicious Favorite Tags view, and voila, all of my most oft-used pages are there waiting for me, rather than reducing screen space with another toolbar). -
Inappropriate?Yeah, the tag suggestions of the official Delicious extension is a killer feature and I really want it in Flock.
