My bad. That FAQ item was in reference to Flock 1.x, and that action will not work for 2.0.
The correct steps are as follows:
1. Type "about:config" (minus the quotation marks) into the address bar, hit enter
2. Click the button to get past the warning screen (but do be careful in here!)
3. Type "flock.keyword.provider" (minus the quotation marks) into the Filter area
4. Double click the flock.keyword.provider result
5. Change to "Google" (minus the quotation marks)
6. Click "Ok".
Sorry for the confusion!

Inappropriate?Hey Crystal,
I think you're asking how to change the address bar search engine, and that you've already changed the search widget. Info on changing the address bar search engine can be found at http://flock.com/faq/show/66#q_11642.

Inappropriate? Some folks might want to have this default to a different search engine. This is very easy to do. Here is how to change the default to Google
* Type about:config in to the address bar
* Search for an option called keyword.URL
* Double-click on the option and change the value to http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=
its main now by the search bar i do the the first thing
is this for the browser part as well -
Inappropriate?Hey, I'm having the same issue, however, I've tried making the suggested change in the config, and I still have the same problem.

Inappropriate?I would prefer not to use Yahoo, it doesn't do it for me...
I have tried changing this value as well as the one in the Options panel within the browser (You'd think this would be all you need to change).
I'm still having no luck.
I’m confused

Inappropriate?Wow...I just found it.
Here are the complete instructions I needed to use:
* Type about:config in to the address bar
* Search for an option called keyword
* Double-click on the option 'keyword.URL' and change the value to http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=
* Double-click on the options 'flock.keyword.provider' and change the value to Google
** This should automatically change the 'flock.metrics.lastknown.flock-keyword-provider (if not change this to Google also)
Now the URL bar will search to Google and not Yahoo!
I’m happy
