Facebook Side-Bar and Home page status not in sync on Flock 2!
Why isn't my Facebook side-bar keeping in sync when I update my status on the web page?

Inappropriate?This is also an issue with Twitter. It would be nice to be able to select or modify the API for status changes fetch frequency. I would like to be able to slow updates if needed or make updates faster...

Inappropriate?When you have the People sidebar open, it refreshes each service about every 30 minutes. We can't do it too often because we don't want to overwhelm the services' APIs.
However, if you want to refresh it on demand, you can close and then open the sidebar and it will refresh immediately.

What about allowing the user to set a rate per service at pre-established intervals. Like 3, 5, 10, 15, 30 minutes or none. -
Inappropriate?And that doesn't seem to be the case with me, the last time my status was refreshed was ahem..19 hours ago! That's just a wee bit longer than 30 minutes! I've actually just scrubbed the comment it was so out of date, maybe the "boffins" need to check into this!

Inappropriate?Actually, I just realized that I misspoke above. When the sidebar is open, it refreshes every 5 minutes. When it is closed, it's every 30 minutes.
@colofaus: 19 hours is definitely too long. That sounds like a possible bug. Try Forgetting your Twitter account from the Accounts sidebar, and then re-adding it by going and logging in to Twitter again. Let us know if that works.

Inappropriate?I know Twitter has got to be throwing all kinds of wrinkles into thinking because its in between chatting/IMing and blogging. I just know personally when following so many people when they get going it can really update fast and furious. where as facebook etc. can be daily at best.
I shall try and live with 5 minute tweets but its hard....grrrr

Damery -- keep in mind you can refresh the People sidebar whenever you want to by closing and reopening it.
