Flickr cannot login and upload
Had no idea until recently, I am facing uploading problem. This time, I cannot login to Flickr and on the sidebar, it always show "You are not currently logged into Flickr"
I tried Open Photo Loader and it always prompt me to sign in and allow Flock to flickr. ( I do not know why it kept showing that.)
yes it did sign in, but when I reach to the Photo Upload Option, it kept telling me "There's error retrieving your albums".
After it had retrieve my album, the Upload button is not shine out for me to upload at all.
I am running Win XP, Flock 2.5. Did the necessary step been mentioned before but still cannot get it running. Happen to both computer, (home and office)
Cookies clear done.
Force update and restart computer done.
Forget account and re sign in at Accounts and Services sidebar done.
Still, having currently not logged into Flickr and not allow to press upload button.
Need some help with it because I have been using this upload so frequently.
Furthermore, my username on flickr is Boon Ong, but it turn out to be 81114252@N00? Quite weird.

Flickr's integration in Flock is currently broken. The flickr.com site changed and Flock has to change it's login detection to make it all work again. We are working on a fix, but it may take a few days -- in the meantime you will have to use Flickr's uploader. We will post to this forum when the fix is pushed out...

Inappropriate?aha! so thats what is going on,... i suspected something like that, as everyone is trying to tackle twitter, they surely must tear down and rebuild some parts of their structure... i have no major problems with flock, just the sidebar that connects and then disconnects. but the login is still automatic. So, no big deal.

Hey mich311e,
This bug should absolutely not interfere with you visiting and logging into Flickr - it just affects Flickr activating in Flock's features.
Try this:
1. Go to Tools>Options (Windows), Flock>Preferences (Mac) or File>Preferences (Linux)
2. Go to the privacy tab
3. Click "show cookies"
4. Delete all your Flickr cookies
5. Restart your computer

Inappropriate?When I did a clean install of Windows 7 64-bit and the latest Flock, Flickr started working. Not that this is a solution for most, but might be useful info to fix this problem.

Inappropriate?I am not about to do a restore on my system to get flock to work. It works okay on Firefox just not explorer.

Inappropriate?Found a solution. There is a manual update to 5.2 on the Flock Page and I just put it on and it seems to be working. I went to flock page and it said to upgrade to 5.1 and the Flckr problem was fixed. NOTE IT SAYS TO DO UPGRADE MANUALLY

Inappropriate?Even with the latest updater from Flock, I am still facing the same issue. It will continue to log me out when I am typing my caption and viewing my photos. I tried the forget the account after Force Service Update and restart Flock, issue remain the same.
I had leave my flickr site on and it still auto kick me out

The Flickr login issues should absolutely be fixed in Flock 2.5.2. If you're running 2.5.2 and still having issues, I suggest trying the following:
1. Log out of Flickr
2. Open the Accounts&Services sidebar
3. "Forget" your Flickr account(s)
4. Go to Tools>Options (Windows), Flock>Preferences (Mac) or File>preferences (Linux)
5. Go to the Privacy tab
6. Click Show All Cookies
7. Delete any Flickr cookies and (for good measure) Yahoo! cookies
8. Restart Flock
If that doesn't solve the problem, please let us know and we'll look into your specific issue.

Has Flock just assumed that these 8 steps fixes the problem? I keep getting logged out of Flickr all the time.

Inappropriate?I followed those 8 steps (even deleted Yahoo! cookies) and not only restarted Flock, but restarted my computer.
I still get logged out of Flickr. -

Inappropriate?I am having the same problem myself. I have not tried uploading, but Flock keeps logging me out of Flickr. I have followed the 8 steps above a couple times. I am using Flock 2.5.2 on OS 10.5.8

Inappropriate?I have been monitoring these few days on uploading.Uploading is back to normal as it will continue upload photo by photo.
However, when the flickr log me out during the uploading, I face the same situation. I can only upload each time one by one unless i restart Flock
