Flock 2.5.2 is not the same as Firefox 3.5.2 but is the same as Firefox 3.0.13!!!
Why isn't the Flock version 2.5.2 not up to date with firefox 3.5.2 but instead is the same as firefox version 3.013, which is a old update?

Inappropriate?Hey glassdj,
I can totally understand the confusion, the twists and turns of browser versions are very strange even for those who work in the space. :)
Flock 2.5 is based on Firefox 3.0 - we are waiting to integrate the Firefox 3.5 features, as there are some reports of issues with 3.5 in the field.
Mozilla still supports Firefox 3.0. Thus, Firefox 3.0.13 has the same security patches as Firefox 3.5.2. You can read more about this here.
So, Flock 2.5.2 has the latest Mozilla security patches - we just have yet to integrate the Firefox 3.5 features.
Hope that clears it up for you!

Inappropriate? The main difference between 3.0.13 and 3.5.2 is features once you exclude the security patches. The Flock crew can correct me if I am off base here, but as Evan states Flock has the same security level as Firefox 3.5.2.
I also agree with the Flock team taking their time as I was using FF 3.5.x and had stability issues (e.g. random crashing, not exiting properly). So, I am willing to wait. :)
