Flock closes unexpectedly, often when I watch youtube videos.
Hello
Flock tends to close unexpectedly for some unknown reason. Happens more or less only on www.youtube.com when I click to view a video. Just closes without any error.
This is not a new problem, always happened to me. Used flock for 2 years or so. I can view about 5-20 youtube videos, then it just closes, randomly... I do have other tabs open also, all in the same window.
Running Windows XP, SP3, Flock version 1.2.7. I do have enough memory, and the CPU is not overloaded in anyway, disc space is also more than enough, 1GB...
Critical/Fatal error, no error is shown though.
I do not have any malware, spyware, virus nor trojans of any sort on my computer, nor on my network. In the years I've used Flock, I've also reinstalled Windows and every driver a few times, still Flock does the same thing, just closes randomly.
I got this feeling it can be something with the history to do, when I push the "back" or "forward" button, all the former sites I've visited in one tab... Got this feeling it reaches it's limit, but I doubt it is that... Just a feeling... A loop gone wrong...
Note: also have the same problem on my laptop which runs Windows Vista!
Cheers

Inappropriate?Hi,
We're sorry to hear your frustration...
Could you please:
1) Backup your RSS and Favorites (http://flock.com/faq/show/64#q_86757)
2) Close Flock
3) Backup your Flock profile (http://flock.com/faq/show/64#q_61799)
4) Download Flock 2.5.2 from our website (www.flock.com)
5) If you're running any, close all Firefox windows too
6) Install and run Flock 2.5.2 (Note: if you are currently using the Eco, Gloss, or Dublin edition, your theme will be disabled upon the update)
7) Check whether your Flock still closes unexpectedly when:
- having only ONE tab and viewing a YouTube video
- disabling any extensions you may have and viewing a YT video.
- making sure you have the latest Flash
Thanks,
Sophie
