Inappropriate?Hey Ranu,
Flock certainly shouldn't be very slow on startup, and there are probably some things we can do to help. A couple questions for you first:
1. What version of Flock are you using?
2. What Operating System are you using?
3. Do you have any extensions installed?
4. How long have you had Flock installed?
Thanks, those'll help me help you! :)

Inappropriate?Hi Evan
Did you receive my reply? Just in case you didn't here it is again:-
I use Flock 2.5.2
OS: Windows Vista
I did have 2 extensions - Screen Capture and Yahoo Toolbar, but have uninstalled them this morning.
I have had Flock for a month or so.
Thank you for your help. -
Inappropriate?Hey Ranu,
Do you have a lot of feeds or favorites? Do you use Delicious.com?
Thanks,

Inappropriate?Yes Evan...a LOT of favourites, is that a problem?:( But no Delicious...

Inappropriate?Hey Ranu,
How many favorites approximately do you have? This *could* be the problem, and there is a way to test, but everyone has different definitions of a "lot". :)
Also, how long does Flock take to start? 15 seconds? 45 seconds? 5 minutes?
Thanks,

Point taken Evan - so that would be around 9 favourites. The confusion occurred because I also use IE where I have do have many more favs...maybe around 35 or so.
Flock takes between 30 to 45 seconds to start up - yes, I kid you not:) And before I forget, it takes longer than IE to shut down, about 10 secs after the command is given.
Thanks for your continuing help
