Flock won't connect to the internet
I have a Toshiba PC running Vista. I was running Flock just fine for some time, then it started crashing constantly, then simply stopped connecting to the web. I tried uninstalling the browser and downloading a new version, but it still does the same thing. The error I get is "Flock can't establish a connection to the server at redir.flock.com". We don't have a proxy and the only Firewall we are using is the Windows Firewall. I use Trend Micro security. I have had to switch to Firefox, which is working fine, but liked the functionality of Flock.

Sorry to hear you're experiencing this issue. For starters, could you please drop your firewall and Trend Micro temporarily, and test out Flock? It it works after that, something in one of the aforementioned programs is blocking Flock's access to the internet. Go over the settings and make sure this is not the case.
Also, as for redir.flock.com, are you trying to access a flock page when you see this message?
