How do I make the ".com" not neccicary?
How do I make it so that I don't have to enter the .com or a website? In firefox, and others, i can type in, for example, "flock", and it will go to flock.com. In flock I have to type in "flock.com". Can this be changed? And, if I don't type in the .com, it gives me a yahoo search. If I cant change the above problem, can I at least make it search google instead of yahoo when I don't type .com?
Thanks
Thanks

Hi Gabe;
To make Google the default URL bar search:
1. Type About:Config in the URL bar. Read the warning, and if you're okay with that, proceed.
2. In the search box, type in flock.keyword.provider
3. Double-click on it, and replace Yahoo! with http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8...
4. Restart Flock
This will eliminate the need for .com and set the searches to Google.
Hope this helps!

Yeah, I got that one from looking at a diferent post, but the site was down so I couldn't reply. How about the .com thing? -
Inappropriate?Gabe,
Please follow Cam's instructions, with the following rectification (sorry for our previous typo!):
at step 3, please replace Yahoo! with this value: http://www.google.com/search?btnI=I%2...
Thanks,
Sophie
