Icon woes
When I drag and drop an icon onto the toolbar, such as "Froward". "Stop" or 'Back" - none of them work. They seem inactive. Where am I going wrong?

Inappropriate?Where are you dragging the Forward/Stop/Back buttons from, and where are you dragging them to? Are you dragging them from another spot on the browser window, or from the "Customize Toolbar" window that appears when you right-click on the interface and click Customize?
If you still have the Customize Toolbar open, you'll need to close it before using the icons -- they don't work while you're customizing.
If none of the above suggestions help, are there times when the icons work, and times when they don't? Do they work after starting up Flock, but then stop working after you do something?
You might try disabling your extensions. Tools menu > Add-ons, select each add-on and disable it. I recall seeing strange behavior a few months ago with the Google Toolbar installed, where there were problems after customizing the interface.
Any of this help? -
Inappropriate?Hi
Many thanks for the response.
I am dragging the icons from the Customize option to the Toolbar. Then have closed the Customize window.
While the page is loading, I notice they become active - but as soon as the page load is complete, they become inactive again.
I am new so have not customized any add ons yet. No extensions or themes. Nada.
Should I do something else?

The Stop button will only work when the page is loading. After the page finishes loading, there is nothing to stop, so the button becomes inactive.
As far as the Back and Forward buttons... Visit google.com. When viewing the Google page, type into the address bar yahoo.com. Once this page loads, does the Back button become active? -
Inappropriate?:) Oops right about the "stop" button. And hey! yes - the forward and back buttons do become active on navigating between google and yahoo.com. Is something good happening here?:)
I’m excited

It sounds like things are working for you now. Just a reminder, the Back and Forward buttons only become active when you visit multiple pages within the same Tab. If you open multiple tabs within the browser (such as going to news.google.com and opening a few tabs with articles for reading), the Back/Forward buttons will not be active until you visit a new page in the current tab.
