Mac Flock 2.0.2 unresponsive issue with feeds?

With previous versions I have TRIED to disable all feeds in Flock. Still, at times I am suspicious that Flock is eating time and processing trying to load or access feeds when I just don't want to use that part of the "service." Lately I've been experiencing times when Flock seems to simply lock-up for periods of time after I've been using other apps and then come back to Flock. Recently after Flock had been particularly unresponsive, I noticed the following entry in my Console output:
[20:55:31.317 flock:poller:error] The service @flock.com/feed-manager;1 timed out while refreshing urn:flock:feed:http://community.sonikmatter.com/forums/index.php?act=rssout&id=2

I don't WANT flock to be checking any feeds. How can I disable this in the hope that Flock won't lock up on me any longer? I'm interested in finding out any information on the settings under about:config which contain "poller," and how they might be contributing to this problem. I'm afraid to change any of those settings (since I don't know what they are really doing) for fear that I'll make things worse instead of better. Any direction on what they mean would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello,

That's easy. Go to the Feed side bar, ctrl-click (or right click on Windows) on each feed and select Delete.

Bruno, thanks for the response. Actually I had already done what you suggested, but then at some point one lone feed from sonikmatter.com got added back. It's now gone.

I'm still having some issues though. Not necessarily with feeds. Actually I don't know where to point the blame. But what happens is if I leave my computer idle with Flock open (whether or not it is the active app), when I come back to it and try to do anything in Flock, it will be frozen. Sometimes it will unfreeze after more than a minute, but then usually I have to force-quit Flock (when that happens, it is listed as "not responding" in my Activity Monitor). I've updated all add-ons to the latest compatible versions. I've tried running in Safe Mode, and that seems to work without problems, but then since the problem doesn't manifest each and every time with the add-ons enabled it's difficult to tell if the problem is still there in Safe Mode.. unless I stay in that mode for an extended period (which I don't want to have to do).

I'm running Flock 2.0.2 and Mac OS 10.4.11 on a G4 PPC machine. And here's the dump-list of my add-ons. If you spot anything in the list that you know to be suspect, please let me know.

In order to determine which plug-in causes the problem, I would disable half of the pluggins.
If the problem still happen I would disable half of the enabled plug-ins (thus disabling 3/4) otherwise I would enable back half of the disabled plugins (thus disabling only 1/4).
Repeat (1/8...) until you find the problematic plug-in.
