Problem with Flickr in the people sidebar, i can't login
why my flickr bar doesn't work? is only me or happent also to other users?
If i click login or i do the login through the site i don't get anything in the sidebar, it remains "you are not currently logged into flickr", also if in the site i'm logged.

The Flickr issue in Flock is fixed in Flock 2.5.1, available now from http://www.flock.com. More info at: http://getsatisfaction.com/flock/topi...

Inappropriate?Hi Nemisis,
Did you by any chance remove Flock from the trusted application list in Flickr? If so, this is a known bug.
To find out, log in to Flickr and go to your account. From there, click on "extend Flickr", and then "edit". Flock should be a trusted application. If not, enable it.
If this does not work, is the yahoo account you used to log in to Flickr relatively new? If so, this is another known bug, and is currently being worked on.
Hope this helps.

I can't see flock on my "Extend Flickr" tab... what can i do?
(my account isn't new and it's a PRO) -
Inappropriate?Well i found the way to fix the problem...
First of all i was delete my Flickr account (only on flock i haven't suspend the service).
Then i star the Flickr configuration. After this step i have open the uploader and select the option "sing in to flickr account".
That open a window to add permissions to Flock for upload files.
Then restart Flock and login to Flickr again.
(sorry for my englsh)
I’m Happy

Inappropriate?Flickr login is dead for me too. No changes from yesterday, when it worked fine, now indicates I'm not logged in in the People sidebar. When I try and login, Flock indicates it is trying to login, but eventually fails and indicates that it isn't logged in.
Using the media bar method above, I'm asked to authenticate Flock to flickr, but the authentication or login is not retained.
Flock is authorized for flickr account.
I'm using 2.0.2 on Windows XP
I’m sad

Inappropriate?Same here... using Flock 2.0, Mac OS X 10.5.6.

Inappropriate? With me it's the same. For a short period my contacts show and my thumb and after the rotating loading icon goe on for a while it jumps back to the "You are not currently logged into Flickr" entece and the "Login to Flickr"button. But in the browser I can normally connect to my Flickraccount. That we have the same problem at the same time shows there is nothing wrong with the acconts or so. It must be something remote.

Inappropriate?I'm having the same issues with with my flickr account and the flock photo uploader, which started at about 11 pm PST last night. I can still use the uploader for media files for facebook, so I'm pretty sure it has to be something with the connection to Flickr and note the Flock uploader, itself.

Inappropriate? This is now a known bug, and is being worked on for a future release. Thank you all for your patience and very sorry for any inconvenience.

Inappropriate?Having this problem too. Flickr in the sidebar literally "flickers" from logged in to logged out, never stopping. I just installed Flock less than a week ago, no plugins. Twitter was doing it too. Facebook tab works fine.

Inappropriate?Hi Makaveli,
Are you still seeing the issue with your Facebook account? Have you tried "forgetting it" then logging back in?
Sophie -
Inappropriate?just tried it no luck
-
PapaMidnite,
Are you referring to the Flickr issue? If so, please try the following:
1. Select Tools --> Options (In mac, Flock --> Preferences)
2. Advanced Tab
3. Within Advanced, go to Update
4. Click on "Force Service Update"
5. Restart Flock
It should then work.
If you're referring to another issue, sorry for the misunderstanding, but could you please elaborate on what you're seeing or not seeing?
Thanks,
Sophie -
Inappropriate?Hi Sophie, logged on tonight and all is fine both Facebook and Flickr work perfect! thanks to all for your hard work.

Inappropriate?5 Months on and this issue seems to be re-surfacing. Running Flock 2.0.3 on Mac OS X 10.5.6.
Again, Flickr on the sidebar attempts to login, suceeds, but then returns to the "Login to Flickr" message even though I'm logged into the service on the browser.
I'm guessing Flickr updated their API again.
I’m frustrated

@Mattew,
Due to recent Flickr API changes, please follow this thread for the latest Flickr update - http://www.getsatisfaction.com/flock/...
Thanks,

Inappropriate? You can find the latest on the Flickr login issue (the new one, not the one posted months ago) at: http://getsatisfaction.com/flock/topi...

Hi Evan, more than one thread now points to this, but at that link it says that thread is buried. This is confusing people I think and more threads may be started as a result. We need one active thread (that is not buried) to track this. -
Inappropriate?I'm here to try flock again - it was very limited early on. I really like the newer features - especially the Twitter integration and I'm tempted to start using the browser more frequently. I especially love the flickr integration - it makes flickr much easier to use. However, the people sidebar with flickr looks broken when it says I'm not logged in. Also I can't view certain media streams, when others work (the ones that don't work say "searching flickr" continuously. I really hope that these problems can be fixed quickly. Flock is looking like it's going to be great to use, but its broken appearance throughout still kind of turns me off from using it as a main browser.
I’m *sighing*
-
Inappropriate?I'm now being kicked out of flickr in both the sidebar (old problem) and now the main browser window, also. Very annoying. Really loosing faith in flock!
