There was en error in processing your request. Please try again: if this persists please try restarting flock.
I keep getting this error message:
"There was en error in processing your request. Please try again: if this persists please try restarting Flock."
Why am I getting this error? I seem to be getting it even when logged in. I have tried restarting Flock, and it continues to give me the error.

Inappropriate? This happens everytime I try to view my youtube favorites from the people side bar.
-
And it still happens to me as of version 2.5.2. I get other people's favorites, why not my own?
But, I'm happy to say, that's the only problem/bug I've encountered with Flock so far. -
Inappropriate?@everyone,
Could you please :
1) type "about:webdetective" (without the quotes) in the URL bar then press ENTER.
2) look for the line mentionning youtube. Copy and paste it here. It should look similar to:
youtube: $Id: youtube.xml 22780 2009-08-20 22:07:54Z campbell $
3) forget your YouTube account from the Accounts and Services sidebar
4) clear all your YouTube cookies
5) restart the browser, log back in to YouTube, and check if your issue is resolved.
If it's not resolved, could you please verify if:
- any of the videos in your favorites have been disabled
- the owner account of any video in your favorites has been blocked
- you noticed anything particular regarding the name of the videos: does one of them contain non-US characters, for example?
Thanks,
Sophie -
Thanks for noticing this.
I removed one favorite that had been copyright deleted.
One favorite had this title: Eric Johnson 〜Cliffs of Dover〜
Non-standard tilde chars, so I deleted that.
Deleted cookies and history items, restarted and still the same.
There is a media streams favorite (bookmark) for my YouTube favorites that I can't find a way to delete.
Also, I have Google Gmail accounts in Flock, but I don't use the Google password for YouTube (I had the YouTube password before I had Gmail, so...)
Maybe that has something to do with it since when I hit the YouTube login page it asks if I want to use my Google password.
Also, I have about 120 YouTube favorites. -
@Joe F.
Thank you for all the information.
1) Please type "about:webdetective" (without the quotes) in the URL bar then press ENTER. Could you please confirm you see this line:
youtube: $Id: youtube.xml 22780 2009-08-20 22:07:54Z campbell $
If no:
a) forget your YT account from the Accounts and Services sidebar.
b) force the service update. To do this,
For Windows, go to Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Update, and click on the "Force Service Update" button.
For Mac, go to Flock >> Preferences... >> Advanced >> Update, and click on the "Force Service Update" button.
c) restart Flock. This is important for the update to take effect.
d) log back in to YT and check your YT favorites
If yes:
2) run Flock in safe mode and see if you can still see the issue: http://flock.com/faq/show/30#q_61805
3) in the menu, go to Tools | Error Console, then select the Error tab: are there any errors, and if so, could you please copy and paste them here?
4) would you mind trying to login to your YouTube account using the Google password?
Thanks,
Sophie
