To many log outs.
I have to log out of every google service in order to add it to the side bar, Flock should not have to have the user log out of sites in order to add to the Flock accounts.

Inappropriate?I keep having to manually log into Gmail every time I check my mail, and then I keep getting messages that I need to log out then log in order to take advantage of all the features, but then I keep getting that message over and over again.
I’m frustrated

Carlos,
Which version of Flock do you have? You can find this info by typing "about:" in the URL bar.
If you have a Flock version older than 2.5 , please visit our website at http://www.flock.com, and install the latest version.
Also, please "forget" your Gmail account from the Accounts and Services sidebar, log out from Gmail's site, restart the browser, and log back in.
Thanks,

Sophie,
I am running version 2.5.
I've "forgotten" my gmail account and all associated services multiple times, restarted the browser, logged back in, and it still fails to remember me. -
Inappropriate?Carlos,
1) If you open the Accounts and Services sidebar, is your Gmail account listed in the top section of the sidebar? If so, does it say "Remember Account" or "Forget Account" under your username?
2) Please, type "about:webdetective" in the URL bar. Do you see this line?
gmail: $Id: gmail.xml 22539 2009-05-08 22:33:29Z campbell $
3) Are you using a Gmail account in a non-US language?
Thanks,
Sophie -
Sophie,
1. There are 7 identical gmail accounts listed in the top section of the sidebar all saying "Forget Account", as well as "Log In".
2. I have this line: gmail: $Id: gmail.xml 22573 2009-05-21 18:14:02Z campbell $
3. I was using English UK, but I changed it to English US. After "forgetting" my gmail account and associated services, it now only lists one gmail account. It still forgets me and asks me to log in, but each log in no longer creates an identical account in the sidebar. -
Also, I don't know if this is useful, but upon further review, of the 4 google services that I use, Blogger and YouTube seem to remember me, but Gmail and Picasa do not. -
Inappropriate?Carlos,
I just checked and the gmail.xml line you have should be fine.
As for your issue, could it be possible to send us a screenshot, of your Accounts & Services sidebar as well as the "logout" message (is it a message bar?)? You may cross out your name or usernames for privacy, or email it to me at sophie at flock dot com.
Thanks!
