Webmail - check now doesn't seem to be working
Hi - I added my gmail account. That seems to have worked. However the check now says 155 minutes and if I click on it nothing changes so in other words it doesn't seem to be updating at all.

Hi kris,
We have seen this happen on rare occasions before, and hope to have a fix shortly. In the meantime you can try this:
Log out of gmail.
Go to the Accounts sidebar (the key icon in the row of icons at the top right).
Find your gmail account in the list, and choose Forget Account.
Log into your gmail account again. (And your account is added again.)
Often this reset clears whatever is causing the 'check now' function to get stuck.

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question but unfortunately it didn't seem to work for me or the person below me. Any other ideas? -
Inappropriate?I've also been having this problem, for quite some time - my last checked time is 54313 minutes ago, and that's after it got to five figures last time and I tried forgetting and re-adding my gmail account a few times in the hope of solving a problem. No joy.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi all,
There is a fix currently in the works which we hope will address this issue. Unfortunately, we can't actually confirm it will address this issue as it has been difficult to reproduce here consistently and reliably.
Thank you for your patience on this issue. We will get it resolved.

Inappropriate?I've recently installed Flock 2.0.3, added my gMail account, and I can confirm I'm getting the same problem. Currently I'm showing checked 13916 minutes ago (Running on Mac OSX 10.5.6).

Texinick,
Did you by any chance configure a Picasa, Blogger or YouTube account as well?

Inappropriate?Hi Justin,

Hi Texinick,
The fix for the problem you are seeing now is under review and will hopefully be available in the next release. In the meantime, follow the steps below as a workaround:
1) Make sure you are logged out of all Google owned services, including Picasa, YouTube, Blogger and Gmail. You can confirm this by opening the Accounts & Services Sidebar.
2) Explicitly log in to your Gmail account. Flock will automatically recognize any related Google services at this time and log you into them as well. But you must log into Gmail as the first Google service for this to work.
I hope this works for you until the proper fix is released.
