When will Flock add more social networking sites to the sidebar?
If Flock would add to the social networking list I wouldn't have to use sites like FriendFeed instead. Are there plans for Flock to add to their "people" list before the end of the year?

Thanks for all the feedback on sites you'd like to see, folks!
What I'd like to encourage you all to do is create or join threads about a specific service. GetSatisfaction allows you to mark "I like this idea, too" which makes it super-easy to figure out what services you're most interested in.
Here are some existing posts:
FriendFeed
Brightkite
Orkut
As for Bebo, we're certainly spending some time with the Bebo API. I can't make any promises, but you may see it in Flock this year.

Inappropriate? It may not be before the end of the year, but we're definitely working on adding support for more services in the people sidebar.
Is there a service in particular you'd like to see supported? -

what about www.thirdie.com
its awesome, why isnt it on the sidebar? -
Inappropriate?Thank you for your response. I would like to see Brightkite, Loopt and Tagged. I know others who would enjoy Pownce and Jaiku. I would also like support for multiple twitter accounts (I have two, for different purposes).
Thank you again. -
Inappropriate?Actually we already support Pownce. You can also configure multiple twitter accounts, but only one can be active at a time.
Regarding Brightkite, Loopt, Tagged and Jaiku, I don't think there is any short-term plan to support them but I'm sure Evan (our community ambassador) will read this thread and file that in his big "requested services" folder!

Inappropriate? There is a new Social Network called Pinuplifestyle.com
I would GREATLY appreciate seeing this site added to Flock! -
For ipernity, there is already a small group trying to integrate ipernity's new API with Flock. More info at http://www.ipernity.com/group/flock -
Inappropriate?I would love to see orkut.com added. It will be very useful for a lot of non English speakers who don't frequently use other sites.
-
Inappropriate?Ipernity would really be a good idea to support - it's a increasing community!
I’m confident

Inappropriate? If you get Orkut support certainly you'll get a lot of users from Brazil and India, it's the most famous social network site on this two country
-
Inappropriate?I'd personally love to see support for Zooomr.com.
However, I think developing something like a WSGI extension (or something similar) exposing a standard interface that site administrators could add to their websites to support Flock (allow easy adding to the "Accounts and Services" sidebar) would be perfect... Make Flock support the responsibility of the site and you'd see a many-fold increase in site use. -
Inappropriate?will flock be adding bebo to the people sidebar? it is the most popular social networking site here in ireland. also msn hotmail?
I’m confused

Inappropriate?I suggest the support for Orkut, Bebo and Friendster. Why?
Orkut is leader on South America, especially Brazil, and India, two big markets.
Bebo is leader on Europe and 3rd in America.
Friendster is leader on Asia, another big market.
Adding to that Orkut and Bebo are own by larger corporations, Google and AOL, which by the way might even help. Another plus AOL is trying to revamp Bebo with the promise to add support for other networks and AIM.
So it might be my thoughts.
After that a fine tune of the existing services will be great.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hey Luciano,
Thanks for the details...we're definitely aware that those are the big names that we don't have integrated.
As I said above your post, I'd love it if you could create or join an existing thread about the individual services so it's easier for us to keep track of your votes (and act on them).

Inappropriate?I agree, Allison- just discovered Flock and there is clearly a lot more social network sites that need to be integrated....maybe it would be easier if people could individually customise their people sidebar to any site they chose. My need is for LinkedIn.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?Here's one for Flixster: http://getsatisfaction.com/flock/topi...

Inappropriate?Need proof that we actually listen to your requests?
Bebo is now a fully integrated People Sidebar service in Flock 2.5! w00t! Get it from http://www.flock.com.
Keep submitting your feedback - it counts!

Inappropriate? It's impossible for Flock to add every individual's personal favorite. "Thirdie" is brand new, so it would be strange for Flock to add it. What Flock should do is include some of the most popular sites (perhaps the top 5 or 10) and then allow users to change this panel by adding/subtracting our own favorites. And those additions should look as good as the included sites rather than have some throw-away, less attractive appearance.
So rather than continuing to ask Flock when they will add your favorite site, we should ask Flock to make the current social network panel editable.
I’m frustrated
