Inappropriate?i have the same problem on a mac. It was perfect 'till upgraded to 2.5.
Will you fix this with a new upgrade? What if I "downgrade"?
I’m very dissapointed, luved it, now I hate it.

Inappropriate?since the original post i have found another problem, an embedded version of real player, on a radio stations website, the "listen live" button does not play in 2.5
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hello all,
A while ago I filed this bug about our internal webmail system that uses google's iGoogle interface. I also was able to repro your iGoogle issue on my Vista machine. I was not able to digure out which app it was, however.
What I suggest is that you should disable your apps and re-enable them one by one, and watch for which one causes your iGoogle to crash.
What you could also do is disable your Google Toolbar, if you have it installed. There have been reports of Google Toolbar reacting violently towards the iGoogle pages.
Thanks, and hope this helps!

This does not solve the problem. I have disabled all add-ons and I do not have Google Toolbar yet the problem persists. This is a worrying situation and I would appreciate an early reply. -
This is a big issue. I use iGoogle daily and it is my start page. I like Flock, but it isn't useful if it doesn't work. Please work with Google to provide a fix. -
Inappropriate? Also, I don't want to disable my apps - I want to use Flock as I normally do and have iGoogle work, otherwise there was no point me upgrading to 2.5! When will this be fixed please? thanks
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? If I were heavily dependent on Igoogle i would downgrade flock from 2.5, so on behalf of others who might be in this situation, what is the highest version of flock that will not have this problem? as for myself I can live without igoogle for a while, I will remain patient

Inappropriate?Dear Don,
Many thanks for taking the time to reply in such a timely fashion. I really do feel that these upgrades should be optional so we are given the choice. I have nothing at all against Flock which in my opinion is the best browser bar none. You don't expect problems of his nature and time is a precious resource to me as I have everything I need for my marketing efforts set up on iGoogle. I have requested instructions for downgrading but to date I have not received a reply. I would appreciate some guidance if you can find the time. -
Inappropriate?Martin, I am not the expert here, maybe Cam will jump in, but if you go to the flock website and click on the download tab at the top you will be taken to a list of languages and versions, the US english version is 2.5 but you can choose UK or Canadian english (it is almost the same language haha) and it will be version 2.0.3 I was on UK 2.0.3 before upgrading to 2.5 and igoogle worked fine. I would, if I were you uninstall 2.5 and install 2.0.3 which would be i minor pain in the arse but would solve the problem, Cam are there any problems with this course of action that Martin should know about?

Inappropriate?Again many thanks for the timely reply Don and thanks for the request to Cam for confirmation.
I'll take your advice and hopefully in the not too distant future the latest version will be corrected for these problems.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I was going to just wait this one out,but have changed my mind, I think I will follow my own advice and downgrade to 2.0.3. I am less concerned with the igoogle issue than the Flicker problem I am a photographer and use Flicker to show my work and network with other photographers and 2.5 doesn't play nice with Flicker. I will continue to follow this thread to see what develops

Inappropriate?Hello all,
Downgrading is possible, but has a few risks. They are:
1. Profile Corruption
2. Loss of Favourites (please please please back up your favourites and feeds first)
3. Non-current security updates.
Also, some news on the bug. As you can see in the bug report's comment section, there have been some reports of iGoogle apps causing crashes in Firefox, as well. If this is the case, we wouldn't be able to do much about it, as it would be a Mozilla issue and not a Flock issue.
We're in the process of investigating it.
Thank you for your continued patience, and I am very sorry for this inconvenience!

Inappropriate?Hi all - I disabled all my extensions and plug-ins (then restarted) and still crash when attempting to open iGoogle in Flock.
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Joyce,
As I mentioned, this issue is a known bug that we are currently working on fixing.
What you could try is to disable all of your iGoogle Apps and re-enable them one by one. What I've found is that it's not iGoogle itself that causes the crash, but usually one of the apps on your iGoogle page. Once you find out which one, delete it and iGoogle should proceed to work just fine.
Thanks, and sorry you're experiencing this issue.

Inappropriate?I think semantics got in the way here...
I realize now that when you said disable APPS, you meant iGoogle GADGETS, not Flock plug-ins or extensions. I deleted several iGoogle GADGETS and Flock no longer crashes.
Thanks. -
Inappropriate?also crashes at me too. i will try to delete the igoogle gadgets one by one to find the problem
-
Inappropriate?it crashes with me too...help !!!
Best,
Austin -
Inappropriate?Hello all,
As Joyce points out, I have had my terminology wrong, and I apologize for this.
To find out which *gadget* is crashing iGoogle, disable them all and re-enable them one by one, to isolate which one is causing the issue.
Another link to the bug can be found here.
Thank you all for your patience and cooperation, and sorry for this inconvenience.

Inappropriate? For the past several months, every time it crashes upon loading the google.com/ig page I choose "Send Error Report to Flock" . Does anyone look at the error reports? I have disabled so many of the gadgets that its no longer a useful page to me :-(
Here's the latest dump:
AppName: flock.exe AppVer: 1.9.0.3506 ModName: js3250.dll
ModVer: 4.0.0.0 Offset: 00031a30
I’m running out of patience
